when we're not walking to the orphanage or visiting lena or taking the occasional trip to the grocery, we are back at the good ol' kramatorsk hotel. what's that you say? you'd like a tour of our accommodations? well, of course, i thought you'd never ask.
entry way, complete with hooks & shelves for all the cold-weather outerwear. that door is to the hallway & there is a door (not in the pic) to the left that goes to the bathroom.
the bathroom...& that sink doubles as our kitchen sink...i think hazel would love our mirror!
when you walk through the entry way & look right, you will see our "dining room". we moved all the furniture around to make it a bit more conducive for long-term living:)
the main room ("dining room" is to the right, just out of the pic)
the kitchen/pantry/entertainment center...& by entertainment center i mean ukrianian tv that we don't understand a word of, but matt loves to watch anyway:)
there is a dollar store type place close to the hotel & i got a few ornaments for $2 & used some yarn i brought & there ya go, christmas decorations in ukraine...take that pinterest.

I think Pinterest would be proud! Love your adaptations. I know what it's like to live in a small space for an extended period, but I had a few more amenities than you. At least I could understand the TV. I think Hazel would LOVE your mirror. I wonder if anyone is showing her the blog. Looking forward to my rascal patrol duty. Thanks for the updates.

ReplyDeleteLove it!! "Trees" will start appearing around New Year's when they typically put them up so save a water jug for your stand and you can even have a tree! :)
