on Saturday, June 16th, lena began to crawl. we have a crawler!! she doesn't totally understand that it could get her around the house, so she's not crawling all around but she does love to pull up. so she crawls from couch to chair to other couch then puts her hands on the couch & signs "yes"...meaning, come help me pull up:)
this video was not the first time crawling, but the first day & i'm trying to get her to crawl to me, but she heads to the bathtub instead...she loves her bath:)lena::
anders is talking a ton & we are actually understanding a lot more words:) for some reason he loves to ask people, toys, birds, etc "how you doin"...& for some unknown reason it sounds like he is from jersey, when actually he is from arkansas. such mystery.
anders::
ok, so this is long, but i want to remember it. on the way home from our babysitter's wedding, hazel decides to tell us all about her wedding. please note:
1)she talks louder & faster when i try to ask her questions because she doesn't want to stop talking for any reason
2)at church, she just goes to her class so she is making great strides to explain that she will get married in the part of church where mom & dad go, not the kid classrooms
3)yes, we allowed her to draw all over herself for fun
hazel::
Go Lena! I'm so proud of her! I can't believe how much she has developed in these few short months.
ReplyDeleteAnd Hazel, Hazel, Hazel. Bless your heart. I hope your parents hold you to these plans. Turkey and cheese sandwiches and Anders in his wedding boy clothes. Sounds like a party!
ohmygoodness i can not handle the cuteness that is your family!! they are all so precious! and hazel's wedding is toooooo cute, with the cookies, big friends and small friends...love it!
ReplyDeleteGood summer flicks is right! Oh my gosh, you have the cutest kiddos! Incredible to see Lena crawling, Anders totally sounds like Joey from Friends when he says "how you doin'", and Hazel's description made me smile from ear to ear!! Love catching up on your sweet family through your blog. Finally got the courage to tell you that :). Hope you're all doing wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteI just saw this, so excited for sweet little Lena! Olga was so excited to hear the update on the eye surgery; I will let her know about the crawling, too! We think and talk of you guys often on our walks and during our tea and laundry time with Olga and Alex. You inspire us to press on each day!
ReplyDeleteMany blessings to your family this weekend,
Anita
