a list

my friend, cary, has the coolest blog...it's called "i've got a list for that" & what makes it so cool is that is so unique.  there is truly no other blog like it.  it is all lists, no pictures or long explanations, just lists.   rather, it was all lists.  she is taking a break from it.  she said people didn't comment on it much, so i tried the other day to go back and comment on every post, but anders just wouldn't have it because i was attempting all this commenting from my phone with him in my lap.  fail.  i will miss such great insights & laughing & tips on kids snacks & amazement at her vegetarian eating & great style & generally i am mourning following something so creative & fascinating.
so, in honor of cary & in missing her lists...here is a subpar list...because none will be as great as cary's.

books i am reading or have been reading for a long time or am always reading::
1. veneer by timothy willard & jason locy
2. walking on water by madeline l'engle
3. traveling mercies by anne lamott
4. some assembly required by anne lamott with sam lamott
5. bringing up bebe by pamela druckerman

  1. You are so sweet. I am just taking a summer break, I think. When we get back into the swing of things/schedule in August, I'll start it back up. I'm such a diva. But I always think of new lists, and have been scratching out a few ideas, so hopefully, I'll be back with a bang.

  2. Madeleine L'Engle and Anne Lamott are my old time favorites. "Traveling Mercies" was a turning point for me!

  3. Hi Ginny, I tried to email you but the address I have for you no longer works. I'm trying to contact Amy from TEAMworks or any of the therapists who have gone to Antoshka. We adopted two of our boys from there in 2010 (one was in groupa 4 with Lena!) and are seriously considering going back. I've emailed Amy and Amanda about Kiril (RR name) but have received no response. My email address is momto10kids@ymail.com Please feel free to delete this from your blog. I just had no other way to contact you. Can you help me? Thank you, Ginny!
