fall favorites

i always get excited when stores start way to early with fall designs. i'm less of a buyer & more of a browser, which is really quite fun. here are some of my favorites out there so far::

this skirt is probably too short for me in person, hence the fun of browsing... but with black tights maybe.

these would be perfect for everyday, can't you just hear the leaves crunching underneath?

and last fall/winter i rebelled against the tall boot because i felt like it had become too commonplace (i know, heaven forbid i be normal), but if i did go back to tall boots, these would be great with just some dark jeans & a really bright-colored t-shirt.

when it gets chilly, i'd throw on this geometric pattern cardi

and speaking of pattern, it can be wonderful or terrible.  ralph lauren's denim & supply line includes this dress, which i think is just right. 

i'm not sure i'd ever actually have anywhere to wear that dress, but this top i could throw on for everyday.

fall dreaming was fun...now back to the real world of summer, throwing on my $4 forever 21 tank top and letting rascals run through the sprinkler.
